people_woman_learning_books_floor [lang_en]Networkers Trouble Shooting Guide[/lang_en]Is time for network marketing once again. How many of you have installed a new tool or piece of equipment and worked from a manual? How many have checked the Trouble Shooting Guide in the back of the manual to find out why it wasn’t working exactly as you hoped? I think probably everybody has at one point or another.

Here’s something I’ll like you to think about … building your network marketing business on the internet is really no different. We are working from a manual, or a success blueprint, as we like to call it. What we are doing is building a Do It Yourself residual income machine. If you follow the step-by-step success formula, you will successfully complete your residual income machine in a reasonable timeframe. Some who throw more time and/or money at the project will do it faster. Those who don’t invest the required time & money will likely take longer to complete their machine.

So the big question is this … as we’re building this residual income machine, what do we do if it’s not working exactly the way we like? The answer is the same as with any other device or tool that you’re assembling – you go to the instruction manual and you check the Trouble Shooting Guide. Now, anybody who’s ever used a Trouble Shooting Guide knows that they are usually formatted in 2 columns. Column 1 lists the issue and column 2 lists the possible solutions.

At this point, I’ll like you to take out a sheet of paper and divide it into 2 columns. At the top of the page draw a line across so you’ve got a big “T” in the middle of your paper. Let’s title the left column as “Issue” and the right column with “Solution.”

Can you think of any other issues they would like to add to our Trouble Shooting Guide? When you put it down to paper, it really does seem pretty simple. Here’s what it all boils down to: 

  1. Constantly fill your top funnel with highly targeted suspects.
  2. Interview your members/candidates with confidence. Avoid selling at all costs.
  3. Be a postage stamp – Apply yourself and stick with it until you reach your destination.

Time flies. It seem like I just wrote about network marketing yesterday. Soon, a blink will be Christmas. Let’s not waste time and get the things right.

Its a well known fact that having a business plan is the essential part in starting, and maintaining any business (had discuss this early). This is an important element in the development of an online business as well. People are more exciting about jumping onboard with the latest and greatest widget, that they simply fly right past the one thing, the business plan, that can enable them to have success. Is it really any wonder that most home business concerns fail? In thinking about this problem, I have come to the conclusion that most people really understand nothing about business, or marketing effectively with a network marketing business.

Some Network Marketing companies are notorious for creating excitment. They gather a sphere of influence around them and start talking about the new pre-launch business that is going to be the biggest thing ever seen and even on Google. They hold cheerleading conference calls in an effort to put as many people as possible into their downlines, as quickly as possible. They create compelling sites that talk about the glitz and glamour of home business and how who and who has made $50,000 in his first weeks of this new business. They talk about duplication and how to build strong downlines just by bringing in a few key players to the business. All this is done for a reason. They really do not want people to ask questions, or talk about specifics of business planning that will help others build their business.

This whole scheme of marketing online is therefore made up from mostly smoke and mirrors. I have done extensive resaearch into the home business industry. I too have fallen for the hype. I have bought in hook, line and sinker, to some so called super-networking legend telling me about the promises of future rewards. Oh yes, my friend. I have fallen for all the lies, misrepresentations, promises of making money and all the other that you have fallen for as well.

Looking back, this is a very positive thing. I discovered that almost all network marketing businesses are exactly alike. They can call their copyrighted compensation plan an exclusive, but when you take a very close look at it, its all about the same. None of the companies that I have been involved with had any sort of solid business plan. Something that I could see was of value, or something that could assist me in building my business. I have bought leads, tried Google pay-per-click advertising and all that is available. The one thing that all of these businesses had in common was the fact that they were all designed to make the owners of the companies money, and leaving me holding the proverbial network marketing bag.

I have gotten intensely weary from the old jump on board with me mentality. This is the primary reason that I took to the art and science of search engine optimization (SEO). I had tried to learn from some of the well-known experts and as you know, nothing will be FREE in this world, not even friends. They won’t be so img_find_capital1 [lang_en]Online Business[/lang_en]kindhearted to teach you and guide you all along till you succeed. So, I decided to cut my own path on Google, Yahoo, MSN and all the rest of the major search engines. I knew for a fact that this was to be my destiny, as well as being my online salvation. I would no longer associate myself with any businesses online that did not have a strong business model to follow. I would simply apply my passion and trade to the Internet, and make money from assisting others in reaching high rankings search engine positions on Google that could benefits them in their business.

My SEO knowledge has done quite well over the last few year period. I have gotten a real education in the inner workings of Google, and how to create copy that is appealing first, to the search engine spiders, and then to people when they find my information. I have now become an SEO master. This has been an uphill battle, but the journey is well worth the effort.

Goals Setting

Time flies… Is time for our Network Marketing section. :-)

Last week, we talk about WHY. This week, let’s look at Setting Goals.

Many people say that goals setting is VERY important BUT that Is Only Half Of The Battle To Achieving The Lifestyle Of Your Dreams.

We hear it all the time…

You must set goals in order to be successful in your own business. Its the secret of the wealthy. Its the difference between modest success and explosive success, etc.

Do you agree?

I’m here to tell you it’s only half true…

Setting goals and writing them down is one thing. Anyone can do that and many people do. But most never, ever achieve their goals.

I’ll tell you exactly why shortly but first you must know this…

Despite your best efforts, you will never achieve the success you are looking for if you never actually set goals for yourself and your business in the first place. Let’s at least agree on that.

Ask yourself, “What goals have I written down for myself and my business?”

Most people never set goals for themselves or their business at all. One day leads to another and the days continue to disappear without success.

How can you get to where you want to go if you don’t know where you’re going?

The biggest roadblock to goal setting is YOU. Setting goals requires you to actually write down your dreams and put a date of accomplishment on them.

Do not get in the habit of working your business without goals. This leads to apathy and an empty checking account.

Goals are the lifeblood of your business. Written goals that is. Statistics have shown over and over that small businesses fail within the first five years. You do not want to become a statistic; you want to become a success.

So how do you become successful at setting goals?

The first step, obviously, is to write down your intentions or exactly what you want to achieve. What intentions do you have for your life and your business? Write them down. When would you like to achieve them by? Put a date of accomplishment on your goals.

Get a pad of paper and start writing NOW. Be bold and write them all down. Your intentions are now your goals.

Think BIG! You must be clear…

You now have goals with deadlines. Your first step is accomplished but this is only half of the battle. Now comes the tricky part. Gut check time…

Do you feel as though you can achieve your goals? Do you actually believe you can achieve your goals?

Ahhhh, the look I see you giving your computer screen right now could melt ice. “Of course I believe I can achieve my goals” you say. “Why else would I have written them down?”

Well, writing them down is all fine and good but if don’t actually believe deep down that you can achieve your goals, then they are meaningless. And THAT is why most never achieve their goals with their business endeavors.

If you do not believe you can achieve your goals…You can’t.

You say you can. You wrote them down. But…

If you do not truly feel you can achieve your goals with absolute certainty…You won’t. You must be crystal clear. Period.

Tough pill to swallow, I know. So how does one go about doing this?

This is where your mindset comes in to play - the other half of the battle.

Let’s take this whole goal setting process just one step further now. Pay close attention here…

In your mind, see the goals you wrote down as already accomplished. What does it look like when it has been completed? You’ve nailed it. How does it make you feel? How has your life changed?

Go to that place right now (the outcome) and WRITE DOWN that part in addition to the goals you want to achieve. Get into the state of mind as having already achieved the goal instead of always wishing or hoping for it like everyone else does.

Assume the feeling of the outcome. Stay in that state of mind as often as possible. Once you actually feel the outcome you will then, and only then, be able to attract the goals that you wrote down.

This is a fundamental principal that has stood the test of time. DO NOT take it lightly.

So, it’s really a two step process, yes?

“What you hold in your mind with energy and focus will tend to be created in your reality.”

Read that again.

The great Joe Vitale wrote that in his recent book: “The Attractor Factor - 5 Easy Steps For Creating Wealth (Or Anything Else) From The Inside Out.”

When I first started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. Its already made a huge difference for me and it can for you.

I suggest you go out and grab yourself a copy right away. This will put what I just said into perspective and allow you to go out and nail the other half of the battle when it comes to goal setting so that you can achieve just about anything you want with your business.

Remember, success doesn’t happen to the uninvolved. Success happens to those who are not only persistent in reaching their goals, but to those who make a decision to reach their goals, get clear on what they want, and already feel themselves victorious in the so called goal setting battle…

e-Commerce is really taking the wave. Now, there got more — m-Commerce! Let’s leave the m-Commerce out for a minutes. Here what draw my attention to a new online franchise program which was launched at the beginning of 2008. The program is called SmartWin Partner Programme and is owned and operated by DubLi which is a successful e-Commerce platform launched in October 2006.

SmartWin has been in operation since June 2007 and has attracted hundreds of thousands of users to its auction platform. SmartWin may look like a normal online shopping portal but differentiates itself from thousands of other online traders.

SmartWin users can buy brand-name products and services and save up to 95% of recommended retail prices. For example, Apple iPods, Nokia phones and Panasonic televisions are often sold for less than € 10; luxury holidays are often sold for under € 100 and cars, such as a BMW 330i and a VW Beetle, have been sold for under € 3,000.

By becoming one of our partners your customers, members, affiliates or supporters may buy brand products and services directly from your company, club or organisation´s SmartWin auction platform at very attractive prices. At the same time, your company, organization or club earns a commission every time one of your customers, members, affiliates or supporters makes a transaction via your SmartWin auction portal.

The report mention that the American nation’s unemployment rate jumped to 5.5 percent in May — the biggest monthly rise since 1986 — as nervous employers cut 49,000 jobs.

The latest snapshot of business conditions showed a deeply troubled economy, with dwindling job opportunities in a time of continuing hardship in the housing, credit and financial sectors.

“It was ugly,” said Richard Yamarone, economist at Argus Research.

The unemployment rate soared from 5 percent in April to 5.5 percent in May.

That was the biggest one-month jump in the rate since February 1986. The increase left the jobless rate at its highest since October 2004.

On Wall Street, stocks slid. The Dow Jones industrials tumbled more than 200 points in morning trading.

The big jump in the unemployment rate surprised economists who were forecasting a tick-up to 5.1 percent. Payroll losses, however, weren’t as deep as the 60,000 that analysts were bracing for. Still, job losses in both March and April turned out to be larger than the government previously reported. Employers now have cut payrolls for five straight months.

The White House expressed disappointment, too.

“Certainly this isn’t a report that we wanted to see today,” White House deputy press secretary Scott Stanzel said. He acknowledged that the increase was higher than experts expected. “It is a number that is too high in our view but it is lower than the average of the last three decades.”

The 5.5 percent rate is relatively moderate judged by historical standards. Yet, there was no question that employers last month sharply cut jobs in manufacturing, construction, retailing and professional and businesses services. Those losses swamped gains elsewhere, including in the education and health fields, government and leisure and hospitality.

The government said the number of unemployed people grew by 861,000 in May — rising to 8.5 million. The over-the-month jump in unemployment reflected more workers losing their jobs as well as an increase in those coming into the job market — especially younger people — to look for work, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said.

A year ago, the number of unemployed stood at 6.9 million and the jobless rate was 4.5 percent.

A trio of crises — housing, credit and financial — have rocked the economy. That’s caused economic growth to slow to a crawl as businesses and consumers have tightened their belts. Spiraling energy costs are another negative force.

The country’s economic problems are a top concern for voters — and thus for President Bush, lawmakers on Capitol Hill and those vying to win the White House this fall.

And, there’s been a lot of talk about whether the economy is on the brink of, or fallen into, its first recession since 2001. That determination, made by a panel of academics, is usually made well after the fact.

“For the average American there is not debate that the eocnomy is in a recession,” said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Economy.com. “That’s because their net worth is lower, their purchasing power is lower and it is tough to find a job. If you lose a job, it is tough to get back in,” he said.

So far this year, the government said, job losses have totaled 324,000.

Workers with jobs, however, saw modest gains.

Average hourly earnings for jobholders rose to $17.94 in May, up 0.3 percent from the previous month. Economists were forecasting a 0.2 percent gain. Over the last 12 months, wages have grown by 3.5 percent..

With food and energy prices marching upward, paychecks aren’t stretching as far. Although tax rebates helped to energize shoppers and give major retailers better sales in May, analysts still believe that anxious consumers will be keeping a close watch on their purchases and their budgets in the months ahead. A weakening job market could make people feel less inclined to spend.

Worried about inflation, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has signaled that the central bank’s rate-cutting campaign, which commenced last September to help bolster the economy, is probably over for now.

Fed officials and the Bush administration are hoping that the Fed’s powerful doses of rate reductions and the government’s $168 billion stimulus package, including tax rebates for people and tax breaks for businesses, will pull the economy out of its deep funk in the second half of this year.

Even if that happens, the unemployment rate is expected to climb to 6 percent or higher early next year. Employers won’t want to ramp up hiring until they feel more sure that an economic recovery has strong legs.

This report remind me of what our MM Lee had told us not to depend so much on the FREE ‘red packet’. What can that means? A JOB will really make our ends meet? Perhaps — is a more tougher way.

WHY?

i_toon-success1 [lang_en]WHY?[/lang_en]Many people think having the 5 critical tips and Schedule Their Time will had some results in their network marketing business. NO! Here one of my favorite topic. I’m about to share with you a very, very vital (yet overlooked) technique that never fails. That’s right. NEVER fails. I always stress this technique when I’m coaching new Leaders. Works like a charm.

As a matter of fact, I’m even giving you some homework this weekend because I think the dog days of summer may be getting the best of you and I want to keep you sharp This is my first time doing this, so, do post your homework in the comment. ;-)

So let’s dive in…

In today’s society we often put a lot of emphasis on HOW things are done. Present a plan with lofty goals to the board of directors of any company and surely they will ask you how you suppose those goals will be met. Apply for a mortgage and you will be asked to demonstratehow you plan to pay it off. Give a professor the correct answer to a complex question and chances are you’ll be asked how you arrived at your conclusion.

The HOW is often so predominant that the WHY is sometimes completely forgotten, as if the WHY is of less importance. Nothing could be further from the truth. WHY you want something is infinitely more important than HOW you think you’re going to achieve it.

Phew! That was tiring just to write. Did you get all that?

If you’re reading this training today, chances are you’re a Leader and there is a reason WHY? But do you know the reason WHY??

I hope you do…

But if you don’t (and most don’t), then it’s time you found out. If you’re not achieving the results you would like to be achieving in your Network Marketing enterprise, chances are very good that this is why (no pun intended).

Stay with me now. It’s gut check time…

To find out what you’re WHY is may just be as simple as identifying what it is that you want, right? Everyone knows what they want, right?

Wrong!

It’s a bit more challenging than one would think. Ask an adult to write down everything they want on a list with a minimum of 10 items and you will find that for most it turns out to be quite difficult.

Stating that you want a certain amount of money, want to quit working or just want a bigger car than your neighbor can cause people to experience discomfort. After all, it may make them appear greedy or lazy and that’s not generally considered positive. So they try to come up with something that’s socially acceptable and in doing so, make what they want subject to the opinions of others.

Here’s the interesting part…

Kids on the other hand have no problem here. They’ll come up with 10 items and more in no time, listing things you didn’t even know exist. They don’t worry about what others may think of it, whether it makes them look greedy, lazy or whatever. All they know is that they want it. Fascinating when you think about.

You see, kids have not yet been brainwashed or conditioned into thinking that they can’t have certain things. They just assume they can have anything they want, right?

And so can you. You just may not realize it yet.

Here’s a very effective exercise for you that will really bring to light exactly what it is that you want in life so you can pin point your WHY.

Chances are you’ve never done this…

Figure out what it is that you DON’T want first and what you do want will become crystal clear. This is a technique called “clarity through contrast” and it basically states that when you observe what it is that you don’t want in life it then it delivers clarity which makes it clear what you do want.

Easy enough right? Here comes the hard part…

Write it down now. Make a list of the things you DON’T want in life. It will only take you a few minutes and it’s actually a pretty fun exercise because when you actually come to terms with what you DON’T want it becomes clear what you DO want. The peace of mind you will experience by being clear is just, well…you’ll see.

After you’ve identified what it is you want, then you get to your all important WHY.

So why would you want all those things? Again, kids have the upper hand here. They’ll be quick to point out why they want it all: mostly the fun they will have and the popularity it will give them. Ask an adult why they want something and you’ll enjoy watching the expression on their face. You’ll see them searching for an answer.

Why would you want to be rich? Why would you want to quit working to have your own business? What would you do if you no longer had to go to a job every day? You may decide you want a bigger house than anyone in your family before you ever had.

But what does that do for you? Would you sleep better? Would it make your life better? Would it make you happier? Whatever it is, it’s critical that you know.

Exactly HOW you plan to achieve your success is far less important, especially early on. Too much focus on the HOW early in the process can have a devastating effect. It could paralyze you. I call it “analysis paralysis.”

If your financial situation is so bad that you’re actually below broke then achieving financial independence can seem so far fetched that reaching it appears impossible. You might sell yourself on the idea that it’s so far out of reach that you couldn’t possibly make it happen in this lifetime. As much as that may seem true at the time, it doesn’t have to become your reality. Don’t be sold!

However, in order to get there you will probably have to overcome some serious hurdles. And for that to happen, you need a reason to get up and take the necessary action. That reason needs to be strong enough to pull you through the tough times that inevitably will come. That reason is your WHY.

History is packed with unbelievable stories of accomplishment. People facing seemingly insurmountable odds who overcame obstacles you wouldn’t believe. Individuals with relentless determination who decided to push on in situations where most people would give up.

Why is that so many people throw in the towel when things don’t go their way and only a small number of people seem to persevere?

It’s not because they are genetically stronger and it’s not because they have been dealt a better hand in life. What sets them apart is their WHY. That’s what keeps them in the game. Their WHY is so strong that whatever gets in their way, they will find a way to deal with it. They don’t have all the answers, but what they do have is an inner conviction that they can and will find the answers.

…And they are crystal clear about what they want.

Nailing down your WHY is one of the most powerful ways to improve your chances of success with your network marketing business. So make sure that you know what your WHY is. Find it and refine it over and over again. Make it so strong that achieving it becomes an absolute must for you and the HOW will absolutely reveal itself to you over time. Trust me.

Take action!

Don’t forget your homework assignment. Make a list of the things you DON’T want and you will instantly see what you DO want. Your WHY will appear right before your eyes. Don’t take this assignment lightly. I’ve done this many times and it is quite dramatic what your new found clarity will bring you.

What to do?

I know…I know, my blog need more updating. This is really in such a mess! :-( Since after moving here, had been trying hard to update and arrange the info here but… Also, the Pay It Forward project is still not showing up right. This project is in future if I met  anyone I wanted to help I can do so with what I get from the project but…

What to do? Most info are what is need here. Yes, someone suggest to me keeping some info and only disclose out to people in-exchange info with you, like this, you get a lead. For me, I really don’t like to do this. Since I am having success with those resources, why not just share it? 

Ok…ok, so, I just need to put in more effort and crack my head to get this get. :-)

Soon, it shall be DONE!
